Happy Thanksgiving weekend! Well, at least for our US readers. I hope you enjoy plenty of food, some time out with family or friends (or alone if you need some peace and quiet!), and this year’s Black Friday sales.

If you feel full like a Thanksgiving turkey from all the food you’ve eaten, you’ll probably end up lounging in front of the TV at some point too. Luckily, whether you live in the US or elsewhere, there’s plenty to watch on the world’s best streaming services this weekend. The story of Ayrton Senna, one of the greatest, if not the greatest F1 driver of all time, is full of record-breaking achievements, shows optimism and fearlessness in the face of adversity and ends in tragedy. So it’s high time that the life of the three-time world champion was retold in an epic and touching way.

Step forward Sennaa six-part Netflix series that dramatizes the Brazilian’s life and career until his untimely death at the age of 34. At the time of writing I don’t know if Senna will manage to make it onto our list of the best Netflix shows. However, if it recaptures the magic of the Sao Paulo-born driver’s legacy and portrays it as well as Asif Kapdia’s 2010 documentary of the same name, I’m confident it will secure pole position in this Netflix’s drama section -based guide.

Here comes another Beatles documentary! And it’s arriving just in time for the weekend, making it the best thing to watch for Disney Plus subscribers. David Tedeschis Beatles ’64 is intended to take us back to the quartet’s very first trip to the USA and give us an intimate behind-the-scenes look at how the band captivated an entire nation and sparked one of the greatest fan frenzy in history: Beatlemania.

Using restored 4K footage shot by US film brothers David and Albert Maysles, as well as archival interviews, this new documentary offers a new way to get a sense of the tension that must have been in the air as they filmed the film The country came together for the Liverpool band’s first performances of the year. I have a feeling this will go straight into our guide to the best Disney Plus movies.

I’m not sure what I’ll do one day The Day of the Jackal has come to an end, but it looks like I’ve found a perfect alternative with the new Paramount Plus spy drama The agency, an American remake of the French series The Bureau of Legends.

Michael Fassbender plays Martian, an undercover CIA agent who is ordered to leave his undercover life and return to the London train station. When he reunites with the lover he left behind, their romance spirals into a dangerous game of intrigue and espionage that complicates his career, his true identity and his mission.

On paper, The agency Sounds like it could be one of the best Paramount Plus shows out there, with the star-studded cast of Jodie Turner-Smith, Jeffrey Wright, Richard Gere and Katherine Waterston. But one thing is for sure: I can’t wait to see Fassbender in this action-packed odyssey.

What would you do if you were accused of murder? So, The madness asks that very troubling question when it hits Netflix this weekend. In this exciting new thriller, Emmy-winning actor Colman Domingo plays a media executive who is accused of murdering someone after stumbling across a corpse, and he must reunite with his estranged family amid the chaos.

Thriller is one of my favorite genres for a reason because it can contain so many exciting stories and topics. I can’t wait to watch it The madness unfolds this weekend, following the story of a man whose life was turned upside down seemingly overnight. This seems like the kind of show I’d like to discuss with others, and I can’t wait to sit in front of my TV.

I love romantic comedies, but finding a good one can sometimes be difficult. However, one of the last new Max films in November darlings looks like the charming teen comedy I’ve been waiting for all along. darlings is about two best friends and college freshmen, Jamie (Kiernan Shipka) and Ben (Nico Hiraga), who make a pact to break up with their high school boyfriends over Thanksgiving break. This soon leads to a chaotic evening that tests their friendship.

darlings Looks like it has everything I could want in a romantic comedy, with drama, jokes, repressed feelings and even a possible boyfriend-to-lover theme. Yes, this definitely has potential to be one of the best Max films.

In the new four-part documentaries from Prime Video It’s in the game, The EA Sports Studio will tell you all about the pixelated origins of the 8-bit game and how it became the touchdown of the century. What better time to release the next best Prime Video show about Coach Madden than Thanksgiving weekend (at least for US readers)!

It’s the end of November and Christmas movies are flooding the best streaming services. There’s a lot to explore over on Netflix, and I have a little secret to myself because I absolutely loved Lindsay Lohan’s festive film from last year. Falling in love with Christmasthat’s why I’m happy to see you again! Come on, Christmas movies should be silly and fun, that’s what I argued when I talked about how Red isn’t perfect, but it proves that we need more action-packed Christmas movies. Honestly, I’m all for films that aren’t afraid to be a little ridiculous.

In Our little secretLohan plays a woman who spends her first Christmas with her boyfriend’s family, but finds out her ex is also attending the festivities and decides to hide their romantic history. The always brilliant Kristin Chenoweth also stars, and yes, I’m ready for some silly holiday fun with one of November’s last new Netflix movies. Let’s go!
