Kylie Minogue performs at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

Minogue joins a star-studded list of artists including Jennifer Hudson, Chloë Bailey, T-Pain and Billy Porter who performed at the annual event

Kylie Minogue dazzled at the very rainy 2024 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday with “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head,” “Slow” and “Padam Padam.”

This wasn’t the first time Minogue played the parade; Her last appearance at the annual event was in 2010, when she performed her single “Get Outta My Way” from her 2010 album Aphrodite.

On Wednesday, Minogue posted a video of herself and her dancers rehearsing for the Thanksgiving show outside Macy’s.

Continuing her hot run that began after the explosion of her hit single “Padam Padam” last year, Minogue entered the parade in promo mode for her recently released album Tension II. She will take the album on tour next year as part of the Tension Tour, which begins in Toronto next March before playing much of the US and concluding the tour in Los Angeles in May. She also completed a critically acclaimed residency in Las Vegas earlier this year.

“I can’t wait to share beautiful and wild moments with fans around the world and celebrate the Tension era and more,” Minogue said back in September when she announced the tour. “It’s been a thrilling ride so far and now get ready for your close-up because I’m going to call lights, camera, action… and there’s going to be lots of padaming!”

Aside from Minogue, this year’s parade featured a star-studded list of artists including T-Pain, Billy Porter, Jennifer Hudson, Chloë Bailey, Idina Menzel Dan + Shay and more.

“Okay, that was full singing and dancing in the rain, but it was a lot of fun,” she said in a post on TikTok following the performance. “Thank you for having me. I’m going to dry myself.”
