The Aggies are off to a good start so far, winning each of their first five games. Utah State has successively defeated Alcorn State, Charlotte, Westminster UT, Montana and Iowa in this quintet and has had very good results in each game.

In their last game on Friday against Iowa, the Aggies faced a four-point deficit at halftime. However, Utah State went on a 44:32 run in the second half and took the win 77:69. Mason Falslev recorded a double-double with 25 points and 12 rebounds in the win.

St. Bonaventure Bonnies Betting Preview

On the St. Bonaventure side they have remained flawless so far this year. The Bonnies have defeated CSU Northridge, Canisius, Florida Gulf Coast, Le Moyne, Mansfield and Bryant in their first six games.

In Sunday’s game against Bryant, the Bonnies came out of the break with a 46-40 lead. St. Bonaventure built a 39-30 lead the rest of the game in an 85-70 victory. The top scorer was Noel Brown with 22 points and seven rebounds. St. Bonaventure will then face Bucknell, Buffalo and Providence.

Utah State vs. St. Bonaventure Prediction

I’m leaning towards Utah State here, but you could make a case either way. The Aggies pulled off a nice comeback win against a pretty good Iowa team in their last game. Utah State shot 46.2 percent and had a 47-31 rebounding advantage in this game, but allowed 18 turnovers in a pretty sloppy overall game (34 total turnovers). That’s 77 or more points in every game for the Aggies and 95 or more in four of five.

St. Bonaventure has also done very well this year – 70 or more points in all six games. The Bonnies have also won every game by at least nine points, but to be fair, they have yet to face a team of Utah State’s caliber. I like to see St. Bonaventure hang around in the first half before the Aggies retreat to cover later.
