Billy Strings is officially booked for a Thanksgiving Day special The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. On Thursday, November 28, the bluegrass torchbearer will make his debut on Fallon’s late-night talk show alongside guest stars Jerry Seinfeld and Cody Rhodes, delivering a performance of excerpts from his recently released project Highway Prayers. Tune in to watch the show live on NBC at 11:35 p.m. ET.

Highway PrayersThe Strings’ sixth studio album was released on September 27th via Reprise Records and was well received. Across a whopping 20 new original tracks, the golden boy of bluegrass expands his ever-changing sound, mixing touches of psychedelia, outlaw country, hard rock and more while maintaining his well-earned traditional credibility. Among the growing accolades is that on October 12, the Strings project achieved the rare honor of taking the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart. This marks the first time a bluegrass LP has reached this milestone since the Coen Brothers’ 2002 film soundtrack O brother, where are you? Strings appeared to honor that success with his Halloween performances in Baltimore, where the superstar covered the soundtrack with 11 special guests, including Tim Blake Nelson.

After his appearance on The Tonight ShowStrings will complete a packed year of performances with nine more shows. The artist will take the spotlight at the FedExForum in Memphis, Tennessee on December 6th and 7th and then, after one-off shows in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Fort Worth, Texas on December 10th and 12th, leave the stage with two dates in 2024 at the Moody Theater and Center in Austin, Texas on December 13th and 14th and a three-day New Year’s Eve event from December 29th to 31st at Uno Lakefront Arena in New Orleans.

Strings will return from hibernation January 24-26 to ring in the New Year at Denver’s Ball Arena and kick off his recently announced winter tour. From there, he will travel to Asheville, North Carolina from February 6th to 16th for an impressive six shows at the ExploreAsheville.com Arena. Strings will then make its way down the coast with two nights at State Farm Arena in Atlanta on February 21st and 22nd before hitting its enthralled audiences in Music City with stands at Bridgestone Arena on February 28th and March 1st Nashville, Tennessee welcomed. The lead-footed road warrior’s run finally ends on March 2, when Strings takes the stage across town at the Ryman Auditorium, the country’s fabled mother church.
