Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Patch 5 adds the Dark Angels Chapter Pack, a new operation and a new Chaos enemy

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 publisher Focus Entertainment has detailed the upcoming 5.0 update and confirmed that the game has sold five million copies.

Patch 5.0, due out in the first half of December, will make the previously released Neo Volkite pistol (which players used to recreate Ghostbusters) available in PvP. It also includes the highly anticipated Dark Angels Chapter Pack, as well as another new operation called Obelisk. The Dark Angels Chapter Pack includes the Dark Angels Champion, a unique armor set and banners for the Bulwark class.

The Dark Angels Chapter Pack contains the crest items of the second founding and successor chapters of the Dark Angels: the Angels of Absolution, the Angels of Salvation, the Angels of Vengeance, the Unnamed, the Blades of Vengeance, the Cloaked Guardians and the Bringers of Judgment and the angels of defiance.

Expect crest pieces from the second founding and successor chapters of the Dark Angels.

New armor pieces will also be added, including the Mark VIII Ravenwing Helmet. All of these items can be unlocked as part of a Heraldry cosmetic.

There are new pieces of armor as part of Patch 5.0.

Patch 5.0 also adds color lenses to the customization menu, something fans have been asking for since the release of Saber Interactive’s Space Marine 2 in September. You can choose from 15 different colors.

Finally you can change the lens color of your Space Marine.

The new Operation Obelisk sends players to Demerium. You must rotate a replica of the obelisk to disrupt the flow of energy protecting the Aurora device. To reach the obelisk’s console controls, you must pass through a tomb plunged in darkness. This operation takes place in parallel with the final events of the campaign, Focus said.

As fans had already seen in a previously released trailer, this new operation adds the enemy Tzaangor Enlightened Majoris. In fact, starting with Patch 5.0, the Enlightened Tzaangor will appear in every PvE operation with Chaos.

The Tzaangor Enlightened is a new Chaos enemy type designed to hit PvE.

Finally, Patch 5.0 adds support for Frame Generation DLSS and FSR 3. It’s worth noting that Patch 5.0 will trigger the announced mods block for public PvE sessions. However, mods can still be used in private PvE sessions.

Meanwhile, Saber has finally confirmed the PS5 Pro specs for Space Marine 2, although it will be somewhat of a disappointment that the game won’t run at 60 frames per second in quality mode, even with the $700 mid-gen refresh. Sony console.
