This copy of Horizon Zero Dawn is crying out for a lawsuit from Sony

As Nintendo is preparing for relegation Palworld for his imitation Pokémon Game design elements, another high-profile lawsuit seems inevitable with Tencent’s announcement Light of Motiram (Thanks Gematsu), a game that looks eerily similar to Sony’s Horizon Zero Dawn.

To be clear, we’re not saying, “Oh, hey, this kind of reminds us of that.” Horizon.“It’s more like, ‘Oh my God, what are these?’ ThinkThat’s outrageous!” Light of Motiram This is one of those cases where you feel safe typing the words “complete rip-off” without having to worry about a letter from someone else’s lawyers.

It’s so incredibly obvious that one has to wonder if it’s an attention-grabbing exercise, a deliberate troll by Sony to see if Tencent can lure a lawsuit that the press will eagerly report on, and then back off and their Designs changes as soon as that happens The name is on everyone’s lips. For example, just look at this screenshot:

Some people and mechanical animals look at a large tower.

Yes, there is Aloy! And those well-known robot animals. In a post-apocalyptic world, nature takes over science fiction architecture. And check out this closer view of a robot that doesn’t have Aloy riding:

For context, here is Aloy in an official screenshot from Horizon Forbidden West:

Aloy rides a mechanical beast while looking at the destroyed remains of the Golden Gate Bridge.

What a joke!

Motiram‘S official site takes this a step further by helpfully highlighting some of its creature designs. Here is the Agni:

And just by the way, here is horizon‘s Fanghorn:

What a coincidence!

Oh, go ahead, you’ve been good, have another one. Here is moratorium(Honestly, I got bored scrolling up to see how it’s spelled) behorned Yama:

And here is horizonBroadhead:

I could do this all day.

It’s made by Tencent developer Polaris Quest and is, of course, described as an “open-world survival crafting game,” because isn’t that all? So of course there won’t be the epic, open plot of the miraculous horizon games, but rather be another tree-cutting simulation that uses someone else’s aesthetic. And with that in mind, it’s likely to be spectacularly popular, although there’s no word yet on a release date. You have to assume Sony will pick it up, and quickly.

However, there is a certain irony in this considering it is Sony in Japan recently teamed up with Palworld The creators of Pocketpair are starting a merch companydirectly in the face of Nintendo’s anger.
