Nick Cannon has shared details of his mental health journey, revealing he was recently diagnosed with narcissistic personality disorder.

When speaking with People During the Los Angeles Mission’s Thanksgiving celebration, the Masked Singer host emphasized the importance of embracing your diagnosis to better understand yourself and help others.

Cannon said, “I still don’t fully understand it, but I’ve always wanted to get tested.”

Having previously been diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia, he added: “I always knew I was neurodivergent, but now I’m learning to accept this diagnosis and use it as a tool for self-improvement.”

Accordingly Yahoo!Cannon first announced his diagnosis on the Nov. 8 episode of the Counsel Culture podcast, explaining his identity with “markers” of the disorder.

He explained: “I have taken the power away from the term ‘narcissism’ by understanding it. “I am very passionate about mental health and therapy.”

According to the publication, while Cannon is focused on his personal development, he balances a busy family life as a father of 12 children.

When discussing his Thanksgiving plans, he also described visiting several homes to celebrate with his children.

“It’s complicated, but every house has something special, sweet potato pie, roast turkey. At the end of the day I’m full and grateful.”

Additionally, looking ahead to December, Cannon shared his plans to take his kids to snowy destinations, including Aspen, Santa’s Village and Big Bear.

He added: “All kids want to get in the snow, so we make it happen,” the outlet said.
