FIRST QUARTER

OREGON STATE FIRST RIDE

Zachary Card returns the ball past the 25, but it is pushed back to the 12 due to a penalty. This drive starts off really strong. False start before the first snap. Ball at the OSU 7. Gulbranson throws an incomplete, deep pass down the sideline to Trent Walker. Swing pass to Hankerson, who strikes on 5th-and-17. Another false start. Third and 19 from the OSU 3.

BOISE STATE FIRST RIDE

The Broncos return the opening kickoff from 5 yards down to the 19. The first play goes to Jeanty for the 4. Jeanty then goes right for the 16 and a first down to the BSU 39. Jeanty then goes 7 and 3 yards for another first down to the BSU 49. Incomplete pass, then Dubar for 2. Third and 8, pass interference on Vadrawale. The pass would have been incomplete. Patterson comes from behind and holds Jeanty to 1 on first down. Ball at the BSU 33. Incomplete pass on second down. Third-and-9 from the OSU 33. Ford catches an 8-yard pass. Fourth and 1. Jeanty for 1, barely manages to get the first down. It was a pretty spacious space. Jeanty 8 carries, 32 yards after failing to gain on first down. Lauder slides off the line wide open down the sideline and catches a 10-yard pass for a first down. Ball at the OSU 14. Jeanty goes up the middle to the 3. Austin Bolt catches a little crosser and it’s an easy 11-yard touchdown. 14 plays, 81 yards, drive lasts 7:04. Boise State 7, Oregon State 0

Oregon State wins the toss and moves the vote to the second half. Boise State goes on offense first.

There are still about 10 minutes until kick-off. There are no known changes to Oregon State’s lineup, but as always, something could change once the game begins. Temperatures today will be slightly above freezing and there will be bright sunshine at Albertsons Stadium.
