Fan information and Horton Field House tailgate experience at the 2024 IHSA Football State Finals

The IHSA and Illinois State University have put together a guide for fans on what they should do before attending the 2024 IHSA Football State Championship games at the ISU Bloomington-Normal campus on Friday and Saturday, March 29-30. November, should know.

The historic Horton Field House on the campus of Illinois State University (ISU) will be transformed into an exciting new fan experience.

The Welcome Zone at Horton Field House is provided by the Bloomington-Normal Convention and Visitors Bureau along with Illinois State University. This free event allows players’ families and fans to celebrate together for up to two hours before their team takes the field.

Horton Field House is attached to the west stands of Hancock Stadium, so the Welcome Zone is just steps from the Hancock turf, which will host the eight state championship games.

All fans are encouraged to visit the Welcome Zone for the ultimate tailgating experience, while each team participating in the title games will also have a dedicated area within the Welcome Zone for their fans. Check out the map below to see Horton Field House near Hancock Stadium.
