Bravo’s ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Renewed for Season 12 with All-New Cast

Bravo has renewed Vanderpump Rules for a 12th season that will return with an entirely new cast.

The channel announced today that there will be season 12 Lisa Vanderpump and a new group of “tight-knit SUR-verse who are just as intricately connected as their legendary predecessors.” Production on the new season begins next year. A premiere date and cast will be announced later.

Additionally, Vanderpump Rules will look back at the past decade of heartbreak, friendship conflicts and scandal with a retrospective special highlighting the past 11 seasons.

“What a thrill it is to build on the legacy of this series by doing it all again,” said Alex Baskin, executive producer of 32 Flavors. “With great appreciation for the original group and their legendary run, we can’t wait for audiences to see a dynamic new group of colleagues and friends make their way through life together.”

The first spin-off from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Vanderpump Rules focuses on Lisa Vanderpump and the staff at her restaurants and bars. The show originally followed Vanderpump and her then-staff at their West Hollywood SUR base with cast members Scheana Shay, Katie Maloney, Tom Sandoval, Kristen Doute, Jax Taylor and Stassi Schroeder. Cast members over the years have included Tom Schwartz, Ariana Madix, James Kennedy, Lala Kent and Brittany Cartwright.

“The last 12 years of filming have been an extraordinary series filled with laughter, tears and everything in between,” Vanderpump said. “I can’t thank those who shared their lives enough. How I love you all. In the catering industry, one layer always gives way to another. Cheers to the next generation of Vanderpump Rules.”

Vanderpump Rules is produced by 32 Flavors and Evolution Media. Alex Baskin, Barry Poznick, Jenn Levy, Joe Kingsley, Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd are executive producers.
