Hailee Steinfeld gets engaged to Bills quarterback Josh Allen

Hailee Steinfeld loves being thankful this Thanksgiving weekend. On Friday, the singer and her partner, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, announced their Nov. 22 engagement with a sweet post on Instagram.

Steinfeld and Allen jointly posted a photo of the proposal on Instagram, in which Allen is seen on one knee while Steinfeld leans down to give him a kiss. In the photo, the lovebirds can be seen surrounded by a beautiful floral backdrop and the setting sun over the sea.

“♾️ 11•22•24 ♾️,” the couple captioned the post.

Steinfeld and Allen were first linked in May 2023 after they were spotted out and about in New York City. People confirmed they were in a relationship this month.

Although they have rarely spoken publicly about their relationship, Allen attended the Pardon my opinion podcast in August 2023 and joked about headlines regarding a recent vacation the couple took. “The fact that anyone cares still drives me crazy,” he said.

Last summer, Allen made things Instagram official when he shared a photo with Steinfeld in Paris where the two looked at the Eiffel Tower. A few weeks ago, the two hosted a circus-themed Halloween party where they welcomed many of Allen’s teammates. “Welcome to the showdown,” she captioned her post, which Allen commented, “👑❤️.”

Steinfeld recently took a break from music. Her last release came in 2023 with “SunKissing,” which was followed in 2022 by “Coast” with Anderson .Paak. This year she portrayed Hawkeye in the animated Marvel series What if…? and Vi in Netflix Arcanein which a new season premiered at the beginning of autumn. The actress is also expected to star in the Ryan Coogler-directed film sinner Next year.
