First five minutes: Iowa 5 – 6 BYU

Lucy Olsen is still unavailable for the Hawkeyes today against BYU. Iowa started the game with three turnovers in its first few possessions, so things didn’t go the way they had hoped.

Hannah Stuelke gets the first points on the board by hitting a three-pointer off Kylie Feuerbach’s kickout.

For BYU, the first points came with two points from Delaney Gibbs at the free throw line.

The turnovers were an early weakness for the Iowa Hawkeyes, who had already scored six in their first five games.

The scoring of this late Cancun Challenge match was sluggish. All five points for Iowa came from Stuelke.
