TCU 76-68 Notre Dame (November 29, 2024) Game Recap

GEORGE TOWN, Cayman Islands – Hailey Van Lith scored 19 of her 21 points in the second half while teammate Sedona Prince added 20 points and 20 rebounds to help No. 17 TCU finish third-seeded on Friday in the Cayman Islands Notre Dame beat Islands Classic 76-68.

Prince added eight blocks for the Horned Frogs (7-0), who earned their biggest win ever, matching a win over California in 2008.

Madison Connor added 18 points for TCU, including two 3-pointers on consecutive fourth-period possessions.

Hannah Hidalgo led Notre Dame (5-1) with 27 points. She came into the game averaging 24.8 points, fourth best in the country.

TCU trailed by as many as 14 points in the third quarter but outscored the Fighting Irish 31-12 in the fourth. The Horned Frogs shot an impressive 61% from the field in the final frame, including 44% shooting (4 of 9) from beyond the arc.
