Mississippi State Women’s Basketball beats South Florida WBB

It was a close decision for Mississippi State WBB, but the Bulldogs emerged victorious with a very narrow 59-55 victory.

South Florida WBB was in control of the game in the first half, although it was close throughout. But a surge in the second half of the third quarter, when they grabbed a late lead at the end of the quarter, was ultimately enough to put the game away.

South Florida’s Sammie Puisis was the game’s top scorer but failed to win.

Mississippi State guards Jerkaila Jordan and Eniya Russell were the Bulldogs’ leading scorers, with Jordan scoring 20 points, grabbing six rebounds and totaling two assists. Russell had 10 points, seven rebounds and three assists.
