To cap a perfect week at the Cancun Challenge, the No. 24 Iowa women’s basketball team will face BYU on Friday at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya in Cancun, Mexico. FloCollege will stream the CT competition at 8 p.m.

The Hawkeyes, with point guard Lucy Olsen sidelined with a cut knee after a practice injury, cruised to a 69-62 victory over Rhode Island to open the Cancun Challenge on Thursday. Iowa will need a strong defensive performance against BYU’s Delaney Gibb, the fifth-highest scoring player in the country.
