Beyoncé denies she’s going on tour after Netflix halftime show

Beyoncé denied reports that she will be going on tour next year after her highly anticipated halftime show on Christmas Day.

“Untrue. There is nothing to report here. Whenever there is news, you will hear it directly from the source first,” wrote the singer’s long-time publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, on X-Wednesday.

The clarification came hours after respected music industry trade publication Hits Daily Double reported that Beyoncé is “starting to promote her upcoming tour, which is expected to be huge.”

Sources subsequently told the US Sun that Queen Bey will “unveil a series of stadium performances in the UK next summer”, including five dates at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

Beyoncé, 43, enjoyed huge success with her latest album, Cowboy Carter, which she released in March.

The country-focused project recently received 11 Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year, making the superstar the highest-profile artist in the awards show’s history with 99 total nominations.

Despite the acclaim that “Cowboy Carter” is enjoying, Beyoncé has yet to announce any plans to take the film on the road.

However, she will perform songs from the genre-bending record for the first time on December 25th when her halftime show airs live on Netflix during the Baltimore Ravens vs. Houston Texans game.

The streaming service teased last week that the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer will be joined by “some special guests” who appeared on “Cowboy Carter.”

While Netflix didn’t name who will join Beyoncé on stage at NRG Stadium in her hometown of Houston, the album featured collaborations with Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Miley Cyrus, Post Malone and Shaboozey, among others.

On her most recent tour, “Renaissance,” the music icon performed 56 shows in North America and Europe from May to October 2023.

The trip grossed an incredible $579 million and was documented in a concert film that grossed an additional $44.4 million at the box office.
