Black Friday sales on Quest, PC VR and PlayStation VR2 games

Looking for the best VR gaming deals this Black Friday? Here’s what we’ve seen so far.

With Black Friday less than a week away on November 29th, it’s no surprise that discounts are already coming quickly, and VR gaming is no exception. While we’re mentioning hardware deals in this list, we’re primarily focused on individual game sales for Quest, PC VR, PlayStation VR2, Viveport, the original PlayStation VR, and Pico.

Expect this list to receive more updates in the coming days, but for now, here’s everything we discovered.

For anyone sticking with the Quest 2 or Quest 3 family this year, the Meta Horizon Store has started its Black Friday sales. Available until December 3rd. If you use the code “BFCM24” at checkout you will receive up to 40% off select games. This code can be used multiple times. There are currently many titles and ten separate packages on offer.

SteamVR Fall Sale

While we’ve already seen a few individual discounts today, the Steam Autumn Sale is now live until December 4th and one of our highlights is Half-Life: Alyx. As always, we’ve varied our recommendations between newer games with smaller discounts, older titles with larger offerings, and some classics.

Here’s what you can currently find for PC VR discounts on Steam.

PlayStation VR2

Sony has launched its latest Black Friday sale until December 2nd and although it includes hundreds of different games, there are only 14 PlayStation VR2 supported titles and three DLC packs in the official selection. However, other games that are not directly related to the Black Friday sale are discounted elsewhere. There is also an increased discount on selected titles for PlayStation Plus subscribers.

We’ve listed every game in the official selection below, along with some additional options. Games that support cross-buy with the original PSVR headset were also mentioned.

As for the hardware, Sony is giving the PlayStation VR2 a big discount, and you can get the headset with Horizon Call Of The Mountain for $350. More on this below.

PlayStation VR2 is priced at $350 and is coming to Black Friday with Horizon Call Of The Mountain in its biggest deal yet.

If you’re still using the original PlayStation VR headset and want to find older games for it, you’ve come to the right place. Here are a few additional deals we spotted on the PlayStation Store.

Viveport

Although Vive falls under PC VR, we have created a separate section as there are some Viveport-specific offerings available. The Black Friday sale offers 10% off an Infinity subscription and annual subscribers get a copy of the Arizona Sunshine 2 Deluxe Edition to keep. Eight game packs are also available at 50% off, which we explain in more detail below.

Various hardware discounts are also available. The Vive Focus Vision comes with four games in the Viveport PC store or five mixed reality games in the standalone Viveport store. We’ve detailed this in the story below, along with further discounts on the Vive XR Elite and Vive Pro 2 headsets.

HTC’s holiday deals offer discounts and bundles on Vive Focus Vision, Vive XR Elite and Vive Pro 2.

Other PC VR Sales

The Humble Store also went live with Black Friday Fest 2024 and contains over 90 SteamVR games. Mainly older games are offered. So if you’re looking to fill some gaps in your library, here are our highlights.

Elsewhere on the Epic Games Store, you can get Tetris Effect: Connected at 50% off and Operation Wolf Returns: First Mission VR at 70% off. There are also small PC VR discounts at GOG and GMG. On the hardware side, Bigscreen Beyond headsets include the Audio Strap for Black Friday.

Pico

Pico regularly bundles multiple games at once with its headset deals, and this Black Friday is no different. This time you get a new Pico 4 Ultra headset with the Pico motion trackers, three free games and a one-month premium subscription to VRChat Plus.

As far as individual Pico games are concerned, there isn’t much to reveal at the moment. That could change by Black Friday, but until then we could only find four titles on sale.
