Christian Pulisic scores outstanding Champions League goal against Slovan Bratislava (video)

An impressive individual performance from Christian Pulisic gave AC Milan an early lead in the Champions League duel against ŠK Slovan Bratislava.

After coming on as a substitute against Juventus at the weekend, Pulisic returned to AC Milan’s starting line-up and got on the scoresheet in the 21st minute. Tammy Abraham played a beautiful ball to Pulisic, who used his speed to break away from his defender and bring the ball into the box.

The U.S. men’s national team captain calmly fired a right-footed shot past Dominik Takáč to open the game.

Pulisic has now scored eight goals and four assists in all competitions for the Rossoneri this season. In just five Champions League appearances, the 26-year-old has already found the net three times in this competition.

The goal comes after Pulisic scored a goal and an assist for the USMNT in the Concacaf Nations League quarterfinal against Jamaica. The captain became the fastest player in USMNT history to score 50 goals for the Stars and Stripes.

However, AC Milan will need more magic from Pulisic after he conceded an equalizer just three minutes after his opener.
