Dallas Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb makes NFL history against Washington

In the first quarter on Sunday afternoon against the Washington Commanders, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb wrote an impressive piece of NFL history.

In recording his fourth reception of the game (CeeDee got a lot of work early, if that’s not obvious), Lamb recorded four receptions for the 44th straight game. According to the Cowboys’ PR team, this is the longest streak in NFL history.

Lamb surpassed former New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas and set the record all for himself. The impressive thing about a streak like this is that it spans multiple seasons and, in CeeDee’s case, multiple quarterbacks.

Obviously this season has been a bit rough for the Cowboys, but CeeDee’s continued performance is a bright spot. Kudos and congratulations to him, hopefully there will be a lot more history on the way for him and the team in sunnier days.
