DeMarvion Overshown delivered a fateful dagger

Heroes, zeroes and the full performance of the Giants’ 23-20 loss to the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium on Thursday:

hero

DeMarvion Overshown made a remarkable individual effort, hitting chip-blocking Devin Singletary outside of his target and then hitting a screen pass to Singletary in the air. He caught the deflection and returned it for a pick-six from Drew Lock, giving the Cowboys a 13-7 lead that they never relinquished.

Zero

The Giants offensive line allowed six sacks to the Cowboys. What else can you expect from third and fourth-string offensive tackles Chris Hubbard and Evan Neal?

Unsung hero

They expect Micah Parsons (1.5 sacks, four quarterback hits) to dominate. But how surprising was it to see high-priced Jets offense Carl Lawson (one sack, five quarterback hits) also shake up the Giants’ backup tackle combination?
