Does the Marvel movie “Kraven The Hunter” have a post-credits scene?

Kraven the Hunter– a Marvel Comics villain from the Spider-Man universe – is new to cinema. Is there a post-credits scene and if so, what does it tell us?

Director: JC Chandor, Kraven the Hunter hits cinemas nationwide on Friday. Aaron Taylor-Johnson plays the title role in Kraven the Hunter, while Russell Crowe plays Kraven’s father Nikolai Kravinoff.

The logline for Kraven the Hunter states: “Kraven’s complex relationship with his ruthless father Nikolai Kravinoff leads him on a path of revenge with brutal consequences and motivates him to become not only the world’s greatest hunter, but also one of its most feared.”

Kraven the Hunter Ariana DeBose, Fred Hechinger and Christopher Abbott also star. Alessandro Nivola also plays the film’s main villain, Aleksei Sytsevich, aka Rhino.

Rated R, Kraven the Hunter is the third film in 2024 with characters from the Spider-Man universe from Sony Pictures Entertainment.

In February, Sony – through its subsidiary Columbia Pictures – released the film Madam Web starring Dakota Johnson and Sydney Sweeney, which was released in theaters at the end of October Venom: The Last Dancethe third film in the Poison Trilogy with Tom Hardy.

Sony’s final Spider-Man universe film, Venom: The Last Dancecontained both an end credits and post-credits scene, although the film was widely considered to be Tom Hardy’s final Venom solo film.

Kraven the HunterHowever, he has had to miss out since the film not have a post-credits scene. This all makes sense given the report released earlier this week about a difficult situation surrounding Sony’s comic book films.

On Tuesday, The Wrap claimed that Sony was done making films about everyone but Spider-Man in the Spider-Man universe. In short, this means that at least there will be no more solo films Poison, Madam Web, Morbius And Kraven.

The news undoubtedly comes at a bad time for the cast of Kraven the Hunter– especially Aaron Taylor-Johnson, whose final scene in the film suggests there’s more to come for the character. In addition, there is a setup for another villain at the end Kraven the Hunter, Who is not mentioned here for spoiler reasons.

The characters in Kraven the Hunter However, I can retain a spark of hope. Thanks to Sony Marvel’s deal with Disney to bring Spider-Man into the MCU, it’s conceivable that fans could see the webslinger as one of Spider-Man’s supporting characters in a future film.

However, for now, he is the only character who seems to have a chance of appearing in the future Spider-Man film is Venom, which previously appeared in the credits of the Sony-distributed MCU extravaganza Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Even if Kraven the Hunter is a hit, Sony and Disney have another problem, as Taylor-Johnson previously played Pietro Maximoff – aka Quick Silver – in the MCUs Avengers: Age of Ultron.

And while the twin sibling of Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) – aka Scarlet Witch – died in Age of Ultronit may seem awkward to bring Taylor-Johnson into the MCU via one Spider-Man Film.
