However, nothing has captured the public’s attention this year quite like the Cabbage Patch kids, but it doesn’t look like the lack of Cabbage Patch kids is hurting many parents’ fad. Although they are buying replacement products, they are planning to buy a doll for the child’s birthday or another special occasion. We are shipping 200,000 cabbage patch kids. In the week between their launch in June and the end of this year, we will ship well over 2.5 million Cabbage Patch kids. Then there are children who are unable to express their preferences. Ross Park Mall, South Hills Village and the Grove City and Tanger stores will open at 6 a.m. Monroeville Mall and Westmoreland Mall will both open at 7 a.m., as will the Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills. The Mall at Robinson opens at 8 a.m. and the Uniontown Mall opens at 9 a.m. Opening hours may vary at anchor and department stores.
