Former Indiana coach Tom Crean says Hoosiers conditioning is a big problem

IU Basketball’s trip to Paradise Island has turned into one hell of a holiday weekend.

A day after being pushed off the field by a rebuilding Louisville team, the Hoosiers were overwhelmed and outplayed again on Thursday in the consolation bracket of the Battle 4 Atlantis, suffering an 89-73 loss to No. 4 Gonzaga .

Former IU coach Tom Crean was working in the studio for ESPN on Thursday and expressed concern after the game about the Hoosiers’ conditioning, hustle and offensive ineptitude.
