The US Sun contacted Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Garth, 62, for comment.

Garth has kept a low profile since he was accused in a lawsuit of raping his makeup artist.

Garth Brooks’ performance canceled due to serious allegations

According to the lawsuit filed in early October, the alleged victim said she started working for Garth back in 2017 after working for his wife, country music icon Trisha Yearwood, since 1999.

She claimed the attack occurred as she and Garth traveled together from his hometown of Nashville to Los Angeles while he was performing with soul singer Sam Moore at a Grammy Awards in October 2019.

The lawsuit alleged that the couple were alone on their private jet on the trip and that he only booked a hotel suite for both of them.

She claims Brooks showed up naked in the doorway to the suite’s bedroom and raped her.

The alleged victim then claimed that he acted like nothing had happened and expected her to do his hair and makeup as usual.

Responding to the allegations, Garth said in a statement that he was “not the man they portrayed me to be.”

Threats, lies and tragic stories

“For the past two months, I have been endlessly plagued with threats, lies and tragic stories about what my future would be if I did not write a multi-million dollar check.

“It was like a loaded gun was shoved in my face,” he said.

On the same day the accuser filed the lawsuit, Garth, 62, played a show at his Las Vegas residence at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace on October 4.

“If there was ever a night I really needed this, it was TONIGHT!

“Thank you for my life!!!!! Love, G,” the Friends in Low Places crooner wrote on Instagram with a picture from the concert.

Garth is said to have filed a pre-emptive lawsuit in Mississippi federal court in September, in which both he and the woman remained anonymous.

In that lawsuit, obtained by The US Sun, Garth, apparently using the pseudonym John Doe, said the allegations were “completely untrue.”

He then accused the alleged victim of extortion and extortion, claiming it was a “deliberate infliction of emotional distress, defamation and false invasion of privacy.”

In early November, Garth asked a U.S. district judge to dismiss the accuser’s claims and order her to refile the lawsuit in federal court.
