Guests shocked by Tesla driving into Bellevue restaurant

On Saturday afternoon, a Tesla rammed the Boiling Point restaurant in Bellevue.

Shortly after 1 p.m. on Nov. 30, a car drove through the front of the store, giving patrons an “unpleasant surprise,” the Bellevue Fire Department detailed in an afternoon statement.

The driver apparently thought he was in reverse and instead accidentally drove forward and into the dining area of ​​the restaurant.

Both the Bellevue Fire Department and police said there were only minor injuries and that there was no major structural damage to the building.
