Hailee Steinfeld is engaged to Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen

Actress and pop star Hailee Steinfeld has become engaged to Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, the couple announced Friday.

Allen announced the news Friday morning in a social media post that featured a photo of the soccer star on one knee, framed by a floral arch and a candle-decorated sidewalk. Steinfeld posted the same photo on her own social media, which has over 20 million followers on Instagram. The NFL reposted the image later that same day, congratulating the happy couple on their engagement.

According to Allen’s caption, the proposal came about on November 22nd, last Friday, when the Bills were having a bye week.

Allen and Steinfeld were first linked in spring 2023 when they were photographed dining together in New York City. The soccer star confirmed the relationship a few months later.

Steinfeld, who is equally loved for her music and acting skills, was last seen in the rerun of her fan favorite Hawkeye role of archer Kate Bishop last year The miracles. She is expected to reprise her role as Gwen Stacy in Sony Pictures Animation’s finale Spider-Verse Guess, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Versecurrently in production, and will soon star opposite Michael B. Jordan in Ryan Coogler’s untitled supernatural thriller from Warner Bros. Pictures. According to insiders, the film is set in the Jim Crow-era South and may involve both vampires and southern supernatural traditions. Jordan may even play a dual role – as twin brothers.
