Holy Black Friday Batman – this Meta Quest 3 deal includes a $75 online gift card

Whenever Black Friday approaches, it’s always a good time to take a look at some of the most expensive tech devices and look for worthwhile discounts. If graphics cards, PC gaming handhelds, and consoles are typically just out of your price range, it makes sense to take a look this time of year. VR headsets are on par with the other most expensive technologies, but may see some price cuts to make them a little more palatable.

This Meta Quest 3 bundle is $499.99 at Best Buythis is the expected price for the VR headset. Despite the lack of a discount, this may still be one of the best Black Friday Meta Quest deals we’ve seen this year. You’ll get a free copy of Batman: Arkham Shadow as standard wherever you purchase the headset, but a free $75 gift card is what makes it special. While you can’t use this against the price of the headset, that’s still a savings of $75 if you plan on making additional purchases at Best Buy during the big sales season.

Until adjusted to coincide with the launch of the Quest 3S, the 512GB Quest 3 had an MSRP of $649. This dropped to just $499 in September and has remained that way ever since, making it very tempting compared to other VR headsets. With that in mind, you can get this flagship headset for a lot cheaper than this time last year, and it’s worth spending $75 on any other deal you like.

It can be a little confusing knowing which Black Friday VR headset deal to buy right now. Even when it comes to Meta’s offerings, not only is the Meta Quest 3 available in stores, but also the Meta Quest 3S at a cheaper price.

If virtual reality immersion on a budget is your top priority, the 3S is your best choice. This device is a cheaper alternative, starting at $299.99 if you look at the 128GB version. Of course, the discount on PSVR 2 is also very tempting at the moment, as the price is lower than Quest 3 just $349 at Amazon

The Meta Quest 3 headset has a much higher resolution than the Quest 3S, offering 2064 x 2208 pixels per eye, compared to 1,832 x 1,920 per eye on the 3S. This means you’ll be dealing with a sharper image and more generous pancake lenses that increase your focus range, which is important when playing dark and gritty games like the included Batman: Arkham Shadow.

If you’re still not convinced that the Meta Quest 3 is the right choice for you, it’s currently considered one of the best VR headsets we’ve ever seen.
