Indy-area restaurants open Thanksgiving for dine-in or takeout

Thanksgiving is here. When it’s your turn to host and need an extra hand, don’t freak out just yet. Several restaurants in the Indianapolis area are offering takeout meals and sides, and some are even open on Thanksgiving Day.

Whether you’re looking to fill your table at home or eat elsewhere, these restaurants have you covered.

Restaurants will be open for dine-in and takeout on Thanksgiving

The following restaurants will open their dining rooms for Thanksgiving meals and also offer a takeout option.

Bob Evans

The farm-inspired chain will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner on Thanksgiving. Guests can pre-order “Farmhouse Feasts” to heat and serve with ham or turkey and sides for up to 10 people ($85-$160) for pickup or delivery. Buca di Beppo

The Minneapolis-based kitsch and red sauce purveyor is offering Italian-American-inspired Thanksgiving dishes for dine-in and pickup through Thanksgiving Day. Buca’s holiday offerings include turkey, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, spicy Italian sausage stuffing, seasonal vegetables and a selection of sweets. To-go feasts are aimed at three to 20 people ($105 to $450) and can be ordered hot or cold to reheat later. Reservations and orders can be made at dineatbuca.com/thanksgiving2024.

The capital grill

In addition to its signature menu, Capital Grille offers traditional entrees and sides on Thanksgiving. Those wishing to eat at home can order a heat-and-serve side package for four valued at $135, including brioche filling, gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, sweet potatoes, cranberry and pear chutney and rolls. Cracker barrel

Cracker Barrel is offering an abbreviated menu for dine-in and pickup on Thanksgiving. Single-serve platters with traditional turkey and traditional sides, as well as vegetarian options, range from $10 to $18. Orders for takeout and curbside pickup can be placed at crackerbarrel.com/menu/thanksgiving-day.

Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurant

The Illinois-based winery is offering a Thanksgiving menu ($35 per adult, $15 per child 12 and under) with butternut squash soup, turkey with gravy, stuffing, roasted green beans and carrots, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and pumpkin praline cheesecake.

Eddie Merlots

The seafood and steak chain offers a mix of traditional Thanksgiving dishes and steakhouse fare, including a salad, roasted turkey, a choice of two sides and a dessert. On-site meals are $49 per adult and $24 per child. Hot and cold versions of the grab-and-go meal, available in single portions ($49 per adult, $24 per child) or in bulk ($225 for a meal for five people, $440 for ten people), are available for pickup on Thanksgiving Day Orders can be made at eddiemerlots.com/promotions/thanksgiving.

Maggiano’s little Italy

An elevated version of the classic Thanksgiving feast is offered to guests at Maggiano’s, which also offers hot and cold grab-and-go packages. The dining menu includes a sausage starter, a salad, two main courses (choice of roast turkey, smoked ham or salmon), two pasta dishes and two traditional sides as well as a dessert of your choice (pumpkin praline cheesecake, apple crostada or chocolate layer cake). . ).

Take-away packages for four to five people contain an abbreviated version of the menu. Cold packs to go are $210 and can be picked up on November 26th and 27th. Hot packs are $220 and must be picked up on Thanksgiving Day, November 28th. Rick’s Cafe Boatyard

The waterfront restaurant serves a turkey dinner with traditional sides, baked bread and pumpkin pie for $33 per adult ($16 for children 10 and under). Additional sides for four people are available for $12 to $14. Rick’s will also offer the same items in grab-and-go meals that will “generously feed” four people for $175. Orders can be placed by email at [email protected] for pickup between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. or 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.

Sullivan’s Steakhouse

Sullivan’s serves a three-course meal with soup or salad, roasted turkey with apple sausage stuffing, gravy and cranberry relish, a choice of two traditional sides and a choice of dessert. Adult meals cost $51, while children’s meals cost $25. Northside Steakhouse also offers to-go versions of its Thanksgiving spread for five ($225) or 10 people ($440). Weber grill

Weber Grill serves a three-course turkey dinner with soup or salad, smoked turkey with grilled sausage stuffing and gravy, roasted fall vegetables, cranberry sauce and a choice of whipped sweet potatoes or garlic mashed potatoes with a choice of pumpkin desserts ($42.95 for…). adults, $19.95 for children under 12).

Guests can also order to-go platters with the same menu items and a few additional dishes in half orders (serves four to five people) or full orders (serves eight to 10 people). Takeout options still available for pre-order include a la carte sides ($11 to $33), as well as pumpkin ($24.95) and apple pie ($26.95). The following restaurants are offering Thanksgiving dinner feasts but do not have takeout options or have already closed their takeout orders.

Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse

Del Frisco’s, the newest steakhouse chain to open downtown, is offering a meal that could loosely be described as Thanksgiving-inspired: a 38-ounce New York strip steak ($195) with a side of sweet potato casserole ($19). Reservations can be made at delfriscos.com/event/Holiday-feast-2024-1.

Matt the Miller’s HC Tavern

11 City Center Dr., Carmel, mtmtavern.com. Open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m

Matt the Miller’s offers a three-course meal with soup or salad, turkey (8 ounces for $39, 12 ounces for $49), Lake Erie walleye ($41), or a piece of steak ($49 to $69) with traditional Side dishes and either pumpkin cake or chocolate mousse. There’s also a kids’ menu with less adventurous options for $12 to $16. Reservations are required and can be made by calling (317) 805-1860.

McCormick and Schmick’s

In addition to the daily menu, McCormick and Schmick’s serve a turkey dinner with soup or salad, roasted turkey, cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, cranberry sauce and vegetables. Adults eat for $39, children eat for $15.

The Oceanaire

For $59 per guest, The Oceanaire offers a 12-ounce roasted turkey breast with cranberry-sage stuffing, cranberry chutney, almond green beans, creamed corn and mashed potatoes. Alternatively, guests can upgrade to a two-course meal for $79, which includes a 6-ounce filet mignon, lobster tail, king prawns and asparagus with pecan turtle cheesecake for dessert. Prime 47 Carmel

Prime 47’s Clay Terrace outpost serves traditional turkey, sides and desserts on Thanksgiving Day afternoons and evenings.

Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse

The New Orleans-based steakhouse serves a three-course meal that includes soup or salad, roasted turkey with sausage and herb stuffing, gravy and cranberry relish, your choice of a classic side dish, and pumpkin cheesecake. Adults dine for $48, children for $20.

Squadron 52

8650 Keystone Crossing, seasons52.com. Open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m

Seasons 52’s Thanksgiving spread features turkey and gravy, mashed Yukon gold and sweet potatoes, brioche-sage stuffing, green beans, cranberry relish, and a layered, pumpkin pie-like dessert in a shot glass. Reservations can be made at seasons52.com/events/traditional-thanksgiving-dinner.
