Jennifer Lopez shares Thanksgiving picture after Ben Affleck vacations with Jennifer Garner

Flying alone for Thanksgiving.

Hours after Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were photographed approaching Thanksgiving, Jennifer Lopez shared a glimpse into her own holiday celebration.

“I hope everyone had a lovely and happy Thanksgiving,” Lopez, 55, captioned an Instagram photo of herself. “I am so incredibly grateful to all of you. 🧡.”

Wearing a festive sweater, the singer smiled as she looked behind the camera at the photocall. She was standing in the kitchen behind a turkey and a delicious side dish.

This year marks the first Thanksgiving for Lopez and Affleck since she filed for divorce from the Oscar winner, 52, in August after two years of marriage. The day marked exactly two years since their second wedding ceremony at his Georgia estate.

They first said their vows on July 16, 2022 at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas.

Affleck, meanwhile, spent Thursday with his 52-year-old ex-wife Garner volunteering and serving meals to Los Angeles’ homeless community at the Midnight Mission’s annual Thanksgiving Street Fair. At one point he was caught looking in love as he whispered in her ear.

The couple has three children together: Violet (18), Fin (15) and Samuel (12).

“He is very happy with life. He enjoys the work. He will be spending Thanksgiving with his kids,” an insider told People this week.

Affleck and Lopez postponed their first engagement in 2003 and he married Garner. The two separated in June 2015 after ten years of marriage. He and Lopez, aka Bennifer, rekindled their romance in 2021.

Over the summer, Lopez listed the date of their separation as April 26, 2024, and they reportedly do not have a prenup. Although they’re over personally, professionally they’re currently promoting their latest film “Unstoppable” – albeit separately.

Lopez gave her first major interview since her split in October.

“Now I get excited when you say you’ll just be alone. “Yeah, I’m not looking for anyone, because everything I’ve done over the last 25, 30 years, in these different challenging situations, what the fuck can I do if I just fly alone,” she told Nikki Glaser for that at the time Interview Magazine.

She asked herself, “What if I were just free?”

“People who are romantics and love being in relationships and want to grow old with someone think, ‘I have to have that to be whole and happy.’ And neither do you,” she continued, noting that she’s “not looking for anyone.”

“I did all the work and looked at where I was and then it was like my whole damn world exploded,” she added. “It feels lonely, unfamiliar and scary. It feels sad. It feels desperate. But when you sit in those feelings and think, ‘These things aren’t going to kill me,’ it’s like I’m capable of joy and happiness all on my own.”
