Jerry Jones makes his first public comments on CeeDee Lamb’s second-half absence

The Dallas Cowboys may have picked up a big win in Thursday’s Thanksgiving Day showdown against the New York Giants, but it wasn’t all good. One starter has already revealed he suffered a serious injury, and the biggest unanswered storyline at the end of the game was what was going on with CeeDee Lamb.

Lamb stood on the sideline for almost the entire second half after it appeared he took a hit. But the strange thing was that the team didn’t announce Lamb’s injury – something teams usually do fairly quickly when taking a starter, let alone a superstar, out of the game.

Jerry Jones spoke to reporters after the game and gave us his first comments on Lamb. Unfortunately, fans won’t love what he had to say.

The franchise’s second-highest paid player, who earns $34 million per year, was on the sidelines during some of the game’s most important moments. And Jones, who probably is to Does this gaffe provide an answer to the fact that he spends most of his time involved in the day-to-day running of the Cowboys’ football? Then why even bother talking to the press after the game? This was obviously one of their first questions and it’s quite shocking not to be aware of the current situation yet.

Of course, if we want to put on our tinfoil hats for a moment, Jones is another possibility had He already received an update and he didn’t like the update. We can only speculate as to what situations would lead to this, but it seems like both a serious injury and, perhaps worse, that Lamb wasn’t actually injured are answers he wants to keep under wraps until the team discusses how he should deal with it, the topic continues.

But on the surface, it looks like Jones actually just wanted to take a postgame victory lap with the press and only had answers to simple questions after a high-profile win.
