Johnson explains his frustration that the Bears’ problems continue

(670 The Score) As his Bears snap a five-game losing streak and fall to 4-7, star cornerback Jaylon Johnson explained “what causes the most frustration.”

“I would say in 2022 we had a terrible roster,” Johnson said on the Spiegel & Holmes Show on Monday night, a day after the Bears lost 30-27 to the Vikings in overtime. “I mean, we didn’t have that.” A whole bunch of people who have made a name for themselves, who have proven themselves. Honestly, that was probably the time where you thought, “Okay, we’re not really built to win right now.” But I feel like the team we have now is built to win, now to win. I don’t think it’s about, “Okay, we need to come in and get the right people in the building.” As far as the locker room goes, we have enough right now to win and be a playoff team again, as far as that goes “It’s about executing it, being put in the right positions, everything really.”

After entering the 2024 season with playoff aspirations and starting 4-2, the Bears have spiraled since then. It’s only a matter of time before they’re officially out of the NFC playoff race.

“I feel like we all need to do a better job,” Johnson said.
