Kansas State Football vs. Iowa State: TV, streaming, kickoff time

The Kansas State football team will conclude its regular season against Iowa State on Saturday at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames, Iowa, with a lot still on the line.

While they could be mathematically eliminated from the Big 12 championship race by kickoff at 6:30 p.m., the Wildcats (8-3, 5-3 Big 12) could still boost their bowl game chances with a win against No. 17 Significantly improve rankings for Iowa State (9-2, 6-2).

Colorado, Arizona State, Brigham Young and Iowa State were tied atop the Big 12 at 6-2 at the start of the week, and Colorado (9-3) beat Oklahoma State 52-0 on Friday. Regardless, a win against Iowa State would be a sweet reward for the Wildcats after the Cyclones played spoilsport with a 42-35 victory in a Manhattan blizzard last year. A bowl win would also give K-State a 10-win season.

But there’s more at stake for Iowa State as it could clinch a spot in a championship game and pick up 10 wins for the first time in school history by holding off the Wildcats. Not to mention the fact that the Cyclones would stay alive for a spot in the new 12-team College Football Playoff.
