Lindsay Lohan makes her comeback after makeover and Netflix deal

Hollywood loves a good comeback story, especially ones involving stars who fall from the heights of fame only to fight their way back up. Recently, 38-year-old Lindsay Lohan appears to be working on a script for her own revival story.

Just a few years ago, Lohan was considered one of Hollywood’s biggest disappointments. The former prodigy, who starred in movie gems like The Parent Trap, Freaky Friday and Mean Girls before the age of 18, lost his way and became a tabloid staple for all the wrong reasons.

Gossip columns enjoyed analyzing her wardrobe choices, antics and love life, often in a mocking tone. Public feuds with partners and other celebrities – such as her long-running dispute with Hilary Duff over their relationship with the late Aaron Carter – have not helped her image, nor have her multiple arrests for drunk driving.

In her late teens, Lohan struggled with alcohol and drug addiction and spent a lot of time in rehab, often on court orders. She was repeatedly caught driving under the influence and was regularly seen in the courtroom. She was detained twice: first for a short 84 minutes and then for about two and a half weeks.

“I know it’s hard to be followed everywhere, but these are the choices you made,” a judge told her in 2012. “Try to live your life more maturely. Stop going to clubs and focus on your work.”

Her career took a nosedive along with her personal life – her films flopped one after the other, critics criticized her performances, and she didn’t help her cause by arriving late to sets or not showing up at all, clashing with directors, causing delays, and Creating drama behind the scenes rather than in front of the camera.

Fortunately, things seem to have changed recently. First she got married and became a mother. After a period of sparse work, she signed a contract with Netflix for several films in which she will both star and produce. She is expected to make her big comeback soon with a sequel to Freaky Friday, which many hope will see her reunite with her on-screen mother, Jamie Lee Curtis.

Speculation suggests that Lohan is using her Netflix contract to prove to major studios that she has turned her life around and that she can be trusted to deliver quality work and attract audiences.

And of course you have to say: she looks fantastic. After her appearance at the premiere of her new film Our Little Secret last week, fans were stunned. “I’m obsessed with Lindsay Lohan’s glamorous look,” one excited fan tweeted, while another agreed: “She’s glowing tonight!”

Another commenter wrote: “I have to drink everything Lindsay drinks,” while someone else wondered: “Who is the surgeon behind Lindsay’s face?”

The Daily Mail investigated what treatments Lohan may have recently undergone to achieve such a dramatic and successful makeover. Dr. Jonathan Sykes suggested she was probably dealing with the pigmentation issues and problematic skin texture that had been bothering her in recent years, pointing out that she may have had subtle Botox treatments.

He also suspected she may have had a nose job. “Although her nose has always been beautiful, the perfection in recent photos suggests that she may have done something wrong to it,” he said.

Dr. Johnny Batridge suspects she has undergone other procedures: a facelift, eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty, brow lift, Botox, lip fillers, veneers, laser treatments and dermatological care. “The total cost of this would be between $200,000 and $300,000,” he estimates.

Regardless of what she has done, fans praise her. “The plastic surgery she underwent is amazing! She should promote her surgeon” and “It’s amazing, she looks great” were just two of the many gushing tweets about the star.

However, it’s worth noting that Lindsay claims it’s all down to good old-fashioned creams and facial cleansers. “I just care about my skin,” she explained.

It’s still too early to tell if Lohan is truly on her way to a successful comeback, but for now it seems like she’s regained favor with the public and media. The redesign was a success; Now we wait to see if her career follows suit.
