MK Slatt confirms he is still alive after death rumors go viral

MK Slatt, a popular social media comedian, has denied widespread rumors about his death that recently went viral.

The rumors began after a TikTok video from the account @dankyunderground claimed that MK Slatt, real name Marquel Holmes, had died at the age of 23. The post read: “Instagram comedian MK Slatt passes away at age 23.” “Further investigation ongoing” quickly gained traction and caused confusion and concern among fans.

As the video spread, many fans expressed disbelief and uncertainty as to whether the claims were true. The misrepresentation was quickly debunked when Slatt’s cousin, Wigby K Way, stepped in to reassure the public.

Slatt, known online as Slimeball MK, has built a large following with his humorous situation comedy videos. He has more than 1.5 million followers on Instagram and 1.2 million subscribers on YouTube. The 24-year-old comedian, originally from Center Point, Alabama, began his career in 2018 and quickly gained recognition for his relatable content.

Although the death rumors were confirmed to be false, MK Slatt has struggled with legal issues in the past. In December 2023, he was arrested as part of a narcotics investigation in Irondale, Alabama. Slatt, along with four others, was charged with drug and weapons possession and human trafficking offenses. Despite the legal issues, his popularity remains high and fans continue to support his comedic endeavors.
