Nick Cannon reveals shocking mental health diagnosis: ‘I need help’

Nick Cannon is perhaps best known for his soccer-team-sized brood of children from six different mothers. but on Wednesday, Masked singer The presenter showed a more vulnerable side of himself as he discussed his recent mental illness diagnosis.

Nick was recently diagnosed and speaking with Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD). People about the life-changing news.

“I still don’t fully understand it, but I’ve always wanted to get tested for it. I ran a series of tests,“ He explained from the NPD.

“I was diagnosed with ADHD. It was dyslexia as a child, but just knowing that I was just a neurodivergent person, I kind of always knew.”

As for how he is dealing with the shocking news, he said it has given him a measure of peace and a way forward.

“I feel like there are so many labels out there, but it’s like you can embrace it and say, ‘Look, I’m healing.’ I need help. Show me.‘ I’m just so supportive of mental health and therapy,“ he said.

The 44-year-old previously discussed his diagnosis on his website Consulting culture Podcast together with guest psychologist Dr. Cheyenne Bryant.

After the doctor revealed that he could recognize most of Nick’s NPD symptoms, the host explained that he would absolutely accept the diagnosis.

“I have removed all power from the term narcissism because I have researched it and understand it,“ he said on the show.

“I’ll be full at the end of the day, but everyone specializes in certain things,“ he joked. “Some people got good sweet potato pie, some people got amazing roast turkey. So I know every house that has to have the things that I really like.”

His Christmas plans are just as hectic and chaotic as expected. “Everywhere, from Aspen to Santa’s Village, all these things,“ he answered when asked where he would spend his vacation. “All children want to go to the snow. So a little bit of East Coast, a little bit of Aspen, a little bit of Big Bear.”
