K-Drama Actor Park Min Jae Dies in China at 32; Cause of death announced

South Korean actor Park Min Jae, a rising star in the world of K-dramas, has sadly passed away. He was 32.
The shocking news of his death was confirmed by his agency Big Title and Korean media on December 2nd. The actor reportedly died on November 29 while in China. The cause of death was determined to be cardiac arrest.
Following news of his death, his talent agency confirmed the reports, saying in a statement posted online: “Park Min Jae, a talented actor who loved acting and always gave his best, has left for heaven.”
“We are deeply grateful for all the love and support you have shown Park Min Jae. Although we can no longer see him perform, we will remember him proudly as an actor from Big Title. May he rest in peace.”
Hwang Joo-hye, CEO of Big Title, expressed her sadness and wrote: “The guy who said he would conquer China and take a month-long trip has taken a much longer trip. It was so sudden and so shocking… The family.” I must feel unimaginable sadness… Min Jae, there is still so much we wanted to say and do together. I was grateful to have been your representative, even if only for a short time, and I will be deeply sorry Forget the name, Actor Park Min Jae.
His younger brother also shared a heartfelt message online: “Our beloved brother has gone to rest. We hope that as many people as possible come to see him off. We ask for your understanding as we cannot contact everyone personally.”
A memorial service will be held in Room 9 of the Seoul National University Hospital Funeral Hall. The funeral is scheduled for December 4th at 9:30 a.m. The gravesite has yet to be announced.
His untimely death sent shockwaves throughout the entertainment industry and among fans.
Park Min Jae was known for his contributions to several acclaimed K-dramas, including “Tomorrow,” “Little Women,” “Call It Love,” “The Korea-Khitan War,” and “Mr. Lee’ among others. Although he was still on his way to mainstream fame, he had already made his mark with his diverse performances.
Fans and colleagues took to social media to mourn the loss of the talented actor, with many expressing gratitude for his contribution to Korean entertainment.
