Phoenix Suns need to change starting lineup against Golden State Warriors

PHOENIX – The Phoenix Suns host the Golden State Warriors tonight and will field the following lineup:

Tyus Jones
Devin Booker
Grayson Allen
Kevin Durant
Mason Plumlee

Bradley Beal and Jusuf Nurkic were both listed as questionable before game time, although both were ruled out before game time.

“I just found out, just as you said that, so I knew they were questionable, but you know that obviously changes their lineup,” Steve Kerr said before the game.

“We know what (Ryan) Dunn can do. We know what (Mason) Plumlee can do. They have strong reserves and so we just have to adapt to the other personnel.”

Kerr, like many others, although the Suns would have put Ryan Dunn back in the starting lineup despite Grayson Allen getting the nod.

Phoenix approaches tonight having lost their last seven of nine games, while the Warriors have lost their last three.

Suns coach Mike Budenholzer says they are ready to rebound.

“Yeah, I mean, when you have a competitive team, a team with character, that cares about each other and cares about what matters, there’s usually a reaction. You can’t just say it’s going to happen because “we’re tough guys, we’re competitive and we’re high character guys.” “You’ve got to go out there and do it and make it happen,” he said.

“It’s never fun when you don’t get the right results and don’t play the way you want, but our group is good. They have a good attitude, they are in a good position and I think they will be ready to go tonight.

As for the Warriors, they have listed Steph Curry as questionable tonight, although he is expected to play.

The kickoff between the two teams is scheduled for shortly after 7:00 p.m. Phoenix time.
