T-Pain makes his Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade debut with a medley of his greatest hits – and “My Millennial Heart Is So Happy”

T-Pain has had a massive influence on R&B, hip-hop and pop over the past two decades. The Tallahassee, Florida native is more than just an artist, he is also an accomplished entrepreneur, Twitch streamer, and more. Today he added another item to his ever-growing resume when he made his debut in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

T-Pain rocked the crowd from the back of the Jennie-O Big Turkey Spectacular car. The fan-favorite float is making a comeback this year, offering plenty of stage space for the “Drankin’ Patna” singer and a group of dancers.

β€œI can’t wait to make my debut,” T-Pain told CBS News about the performance earlier this week. “I have some surprises in store to make turkey day a happy one and celebrate the start of the holiday season,” he assured the outlet. Fans across the country can agree that he kept that promise this morning.

T-Pain rode in style

For many families, Thanksgiving is all about the turkey. Jennie-O is one of the most popular turkey product manufacturers in the country. So both go hand in hand. At the same time, it would be hard to find anyone who doesn’t like at least some of T-Pain’s work. So everything came together well for his performance.

The Jennie-O Big Turkey Spectacular Float is becoming a favorite with fans across the country. This is the fifth time in a row that the float has taken part in the parade. Finished in the brand’s gold and green colors, the car is 36 feet long, 25 feet wide and 24 feet high. The turkey’s striking feathers stand an impressive two stories tall and could stretch across a football field.

In short, T-Pain didn’t just perform a handful of his biggest hits during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. He did this with style. More importantly, he gave fans across the country something to be thankful for this morning.

If you want to see how much reach T-Pain has, you can check out his recent collaboration with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. The pair teamed up for an acoustic version of Lil Jon’s 2003 club banger “Get Low.”
